San Pedro Del Pinatar, being on the Mar Menor, a famous stretch of inland sea, has it's own micro-climate that makes it consistently warmer than other areas of the Costa Claida coastline.

The area enjoys more than 2800 hours of sunshine each year and the average temperature is 19.3 celsius. Sun  lovers can enjoy around 325 sunny days per year.

The warm, sunny climate makes San Pedro Del Pinatar a very popular place to live, far removed from the noisy towns and cities like Torrevieja or Alicante, which are now less popular with British holidaymakers and holiday home owners, having been ruined by high rise over-development.
