Above: Side view showing the steps to the first floor
apartment and from the apartment to the rooftop solarium. Notice the ballustrading to the
garden wall - this was not a standard fixture and cost €4000 in 2008
|
|

The large garden area has been professionally tiled for
minimum maintenance and provides off-road parking for 2 vehicles, or an enclosed, private
play area for younger children.
This is one of the largest on the entire development.
Originally, the gardens were all undeveloped and full of weeds, the tiling cost an additional
€5000
|
|

The under-stairs cupboard provides useful storage for
suitcases, bicycles, tools, etc. (We managed to fit in a full size
table tennis table, four bicycles and two very large suitcases)
Again, this is not a standard feature and cost around €800

The lounge diner.
Setees, artwork and lamps are
excluded from the sale.

The lounge diner viewed from the kitchen. The air conditioning
unit can be seen above the bedroom door.
The lounge and all three bedrooms are air conditioned with the best Mitsubishi units
available. Unlike some properties, we had the air conditioning ducts and wiring pre-installed,
meaning that there are no unsightly trunking and external drains, unlike some properties in the
area.

One of the local restaurants, less than 100 yards away from
the apartment.

This view, from the roof top solarium shows the protected nature park and salt lakes across
the road. In the distance, you can see the Mediterranean. In certain other blocks on this
development, such views are completely obscured by the hotel and spa, which also blocks light.
Take a stroll down the roads and see for yourself, or view the location page to see the Google
satellite view - not all apartments are equal. Ours benefits from a west facing roof top
solarium and sea / nature park views.

Amigos Bar - this is not your typical Spanish bar. It's lively, fun,
friendly and always has a good selection of entertainment. The drinks are reasonably priced and
the food is the best around for the price.

20 minutes walk along a newly built path and cycle way, adjacent to the
nature park, is the marina of San Pedro Del Pinatar.
The marina has several bars and restaurants and also provides access to a
couple of safe and secluded beaches.

The marina is a haven for boat lovers and is a great place to
relax and spend an evening or afternoon with a long cold drink.

This is one the walkway that takes you through the nature park to the
Mediterranean beaches - just across the road from the apartment and a 20 minute walk will lead
you to the beaches and the harbour.
The cycle lane is also very handy for those who prefer a little more
exercise.
The entire resort has a dedicated cycle lane that is protected from road
traffic.
As there are no hills, San Pedro Del Pinatar is a perfect
location for cycling and the area has a number of cycle hire places as well as the free bicycle
system now operational in San Pedro Del Pinatar.

A view of the salt lake with it's flamingos. The nature park is protected by
law and no building is allowed.
Park wardens regularly patrol and there are many bird watching posts
scattered throughout the dunes.

The newly opened hotel, restaurant and indoor spa therapy
centre is ideal for pampering days.
Behind this hotel are other apartments and town houses, as you can see, the
hotel completely dominates and casts a huge shadow on the properties. Don't buy in Manzanas 13
and 14 - you get no views and of course, the hotel's bins and rubbish are placed in the street
at the back!
